Improving South Africa’s customer service standards for 2010 and Beyond!
SA Host is not just another customer care training course. It is a national project to improve service standards throughout South Africa.
 forms part of a dedicated national network of SA Host leaders. They present the SA Host workshops in the southern KZN region specifically. Having trained more than 1000 participants to date, they are committed to improving service standards in South Africa in line with the opportunities of 2010 and beyond.

The B Business’s mission is aptly supported by the National SA Host Mission which is “to foster the spirit of unconditional, collective hospitality in South Africa by improving the service standard nationally through training, and creating awareness of the importance of the individual’s role in their place of work and as ambassadors for their community and for South Africa”. |
SA Host’s Objectives are to:
- improve service standards through training;
- change attitudes towards visitors by creating an awareness of the value of the visitor industry to the country and the role played by every resident; and to
- elevate national pride.
Become a recognised SA Host organisation
Organisations/businesses that train more than 60% of their staff, including 60% of management, can be awarded SA Host Business Status. This allows them to use the SA Host logo as part of their marketing communicating to their customers that they are serious about service! This certificate is renewable each year.
Workshop participants learn how to:
- Communicate clearly with customers
- Listen effectively to customer needs
- Make a good first impression
- Handle challenging customer interactions and build loyalty
- Proactively find solutions to meet customer needs
- Deliver excellent service on the telephone
- Increase your professionalism
Fees
Quoted on request as they depend on location, venues, group structure, etc.
They do however include:
- Attendance at the 2-day workshop
- An SA Host workbook
- An SA Host lapel badge and
- An SA Host nationally recognised certificate
- A Service Leader Toolkit to help leaders implement changes to their service standards back at work (Only available in the SA Host for Service Leader’s Workshop)
